Orthopaedics
Seven body regions, 17 validated instruments and 89 calculated values — KOOS, OKS, Lysholm, IKDC, ODI, QuickDASH and more.
View instruments →ApolloScribe sends a specialty-tailored health check before the appointment, then turns it — and the referral — into a 60-second Patient Overview. You walk in already knowing the history. One click after the consult drafts every letter.
The history is taken before your patient arrives — so the consult is spent on the decision, not the discovery.
ApolloScribe sends a specialty-tailored health check after booking. Conditional branching means each patient sees only the questions that apply to them — a thorough history without the one-size-fits-all bloat.
Validated instruments are embedded, auto-scored, and graded with severity flags, so the numbers are done before you sit down.
ApolloScribe synthesises the health check and the referral letter into a single concise brief. You read it in about 60 seconds and open the consult on the core issue — no time lost to background discovery.
Insights & Actions surfaces the decisions that matter: risk flags, contraindications, abnormal scores, and the gaps worth chasing before you proceed.
ApolloScribe transcribes the consult with a medical speech model, primed with the patient's own terminology so clinical terms are rarely misheard. When you finish, one click drafts the whole paper trail.
Patient Letter, Consult, Consult Billing and Clinical Snapshot — generated together, ready for your review before anything is sent.
From the same consult, ApolloScribe drafts every investigation request and referral you need — pathology, imaging and onward referrals — each pre-populated from the captured history and the consult.
Generate several at once, and every letter is tailored to whoever receives it: the right summary for the referring GP, or for the specialist you're referring on to.

ApolloScribe connects with the practice management, messaging and billing platforms Australian specialists already use — so patient demographics and letters don't get double-handled.
The same clinic list — with and without ApolloScribe.
ApolloScribe is a clinical documentation platform for surgical and medical specialists. It sends a specialty-tailored health check survey to the patient before the consult, embeds and auto-scores validated clinical instruments, and synthesises the survey responses and referral letter into an AI Patient Overview you can read in about 60 seconds. During the consult it transcribes the conversation with a medical speech model, and afterwards generates the Patient Letter, Consult, Consult Billing and Clinical Snapshot in a single click.
Survey sets are live today for Orthopaedics, Gastroenterology, Pain Medicine, ENT, Anaesthetics and Immunology. Orthopaedics covers seven body regions with 17 validated instruments including KOOS, OKS, Lysholm, Tegner, IKDC, ODI and QuickDASH. Gastroenterology includes GerdQ, Rome IV, IBS-SSS, HBI, SCCAI, PUCAI and the Bristol Stool Scale from neonate to adult. Pain Medicine includes ODI, NDI, DN4, PHQ-4, PCS, ISI-7 and FABQ-W with chronicity classification. ENT includes the NOSE score, STOP-BANG and the Epworth Sleepiness Scale. Immunology captures allergy, drug reaction and immunodeficiency history. Further specialties are in development — register your interest and we'll let you know when yours is ready.
When a patient completes their pre-consult health check, ApolloScribe uses AI to synthesise their survey responses together with the referral letter into a single concise clinical brief — the Patient Overview. Alongside it, Insights and Actions flags clinical risks, validated-score severity, and data gaps for you to act on. You read the brief before the patient sits down, so the consult opens on the core issue instead of background discovery.
From a single consult transcript, ApolloScribe generates four documents in parallel with one click: a plain-language Patient Letter emailed to the patient after your review, a Consult letter for the referring clinician, a Consult Billing summary with MBS items for admin, and an internal Clinical Snapshot. For surgical appointments an Operative Report can also be produced. It can also draft multiple investigation requests (pathology, imaging) and referral letters from the captured history, each tailored to the clinician receiving it. You review and edit each document before it is sent.
Yes. ApolloScribe is built with privacy by design. No personally identifiable information (PII) is sent to AI models. The system anonymises the patient transcript and clinical data before it is processed by AI, then re-injects patient details into the final generated documents. All AI-generated overviews, risk assessments and letters are produced without exposing patient identity to external AI services.
